Welcome to Shutter Bliss Studios, located in the heart of Austin, Texas! These terms and conditions govern your use of our services and website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and Shutter Bliss Studios ("Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a photography session or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
All photography sessions must be booked in advance through our website or by contacting us directly at (512) 555-0123 or [email protected]. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total session fee is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
We accept the following forms of payment: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit card, and cash. Personal checks are not accepted.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Only one rescheduling is permitted per booking, and the rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original date. Failure to comply will result in a cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
We strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all of our clients. We expect all clients to conduct themselves respectfully during the session. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to terminate the session immediately without refund.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the session.
Shutter Bliss Studios retains all copyrights to the photographs taken during your session. You will receive a personal-use license, which allows you to print, share online, and use the images for personal purposes. Commercial use of the images is strictly prohibited without our written consent.
We may use the images for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not wish for your images to be used in this way, please notify us in writing before your session.
Your edited images will be delivered to you via an online gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session. You will receive a link to the gallery along with instructions on how to download your images. We recommend downloading your images promptly as the gallery will expire after 60 days. We are not responsible for images lost due to expired galleries.
Our standard editing includes color correction, exposure adjustments, and minor blemish removal. Extensive retouching, such as body modifications or background changes, may be requested for an additional fee. We will provide a quote for any additional retouching services before proceeding.
For location shoots, the client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or permissions. We are not responsible for any fines or penalties incurred due to the client's failure to obtain the required permits.
Travel fees may apply for locations outside of a 20-mile radius of our studio located at 221 Lavaca Street, Austin, TX 78701. The travel fee will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the session.
By engaging our services, you grant Shutter Bliss Studios permission to use your likeness in photographs for promotional and advertising purposes. This includes but is not limited to, our website, social media channels, and printed marketing materials. If you prefer not to have your images used for such purposes, you must inform us in writing prior to your photoshoot. Your decision will not affect the quality of service you receive.
Shutter Bliss Studios is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings during a session. We are also not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services.
In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from completing your session, our liability is limited to a full refund of any payments made.
Shutter Bliss Studios shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, or government regulations.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
